PAWS Shelter and Humane Society: This no-kill shelter serves Hays and surrounding Central Texas counties. PAWS created the life-changing Cell Dog program at Kyle Correctional Center and will celebrate its 25th anniversary in 2011. For more information, visit pawsshelter.org.

Penny's From Heaven Foundation: An elite group of well-trained, exceptional working therapy dogs, leaving paw prints in healthcare facilities and lives. The Penny's From Heaven Foundation therapy dogs provide services to returning wounded servicemen and women, children testifying to sexual and physical abuse, hospice patients, children’s hospitals, adult hospitals, the court house, retirement homes, long-term care facilities, rehabilitation hospitals, bone marrow transplant clinics, and more. Harrison Ranch Park: A project of the City of Dripping Springs, Harrison Ranch Park is designed to enable future generations to remain rooted to the Hill Country lands and rural ways of life. Rainwater Revival: On Saturday, October 9, 2010, rainwater collection professionals and enthusiasts converged on Dripping Springs, Texas to support the mission to spread the good word on rainwater harvesting and water conservation, the importance of which grows with our ever increasing population.
