Posted November 1, 2011 - We will be receiving delivery today of new Pure Vita grain-free products in 3 new flavors. Lately, we are finding more and more dogs developing food allergies to carbohydrates included in many dog foods. Owners are learning that grain-free products work better for their dogs. Given the increased demand, manufacturers are adding different flavors and varieties and we're very excited to begin offering Pure Vita grain-free products in Bison, Turkey and Salmon. Posted October 31, 2011 -  Today is Halloween which is why we introduce you to our client Hobbs, an Orange tabby and one of our favorite cats -- he loves to lounge in the sun and watch the dogs from the cat kurunda bed, but when it's "lights out" at night, he is the the first one to let us know it is time for a treat! Posted August 1, 2011 - We are thrilled to report that 4 animal/handler teams, that went through the therapy dog training program at Stay N Play Pet Ranch, passed their Delta Society Pet Partners therapy dog certification test on Saturday. And another team that also passed used private sessions by our trainer Laura Harvey to prepare for the test. Posted June 14, 2011 - What a great time we had at our booth at the Red Arena Round Up on June 4th! The kids got to train a dog to do an agility task -- weave through the orange cones, run through the tunnel, jump over a hurdle and more! And, speaking of...Stay N Play Pet Ranch has several training classes coming up in the next few weeks. Canine Boot Camp starts June 27th, both Puppy Beginnings and Basic Obedience start July 2nd, and we have a Fungility starting July 6th. Photos and more Off the Leash!

The need for a "job" is in their genetic code. Most dogs were bred to herd, watch a flock, or protect property or people. Posted December 20, 2010 -- In the wake of a recent recall of pet food, we're reminded of the importance of premium pet food. The products have been recalled due to the possible presence of aflatoxin, a toxic by-product from the growth of the fungus Aspergillus flavus on corn and other crops. While premium pet foods do contain carbohydrates, they avoid corn, wheat and soy — the most common components of food allergies in pets.
