Stay N Play Pet Ranch is owned and operated by people who truly care about animals. As a member of the Pet Care Services Association, our management and employees are trained under PCSA certified training programs. Created with the firm belief that there must be a better way for pet care, we carry forth that founding principle every day with ongoing education, training, and research to continue to enhance your pet’s body, mind, and spirit experience in the healthiest, all natural facility possible.

Charlotte Biggs and Betty Gale, Founder/Owners
Having experienced a variety of care environments for her dogs when traveling extensively for work, Charlotte Biggs knew there had to be a better way for pet care. Partnering with Betty Gale, the two women spent several years researching and planning the ultimate boarding facility. Both gave up corporate positions to put their hard work and true passion for animals into creating one of the finest pet boarding, grooming, and training facilities in the country. Nationally recognized for their efforts in creating an all natural and green facility, Charlotte and Betty make all decisions based on what is best for pets in Stay N Play Pet Ranch’s care including putting together an experienced team who share the same passion. Lynn Fruchey, DVM, Director of Kennel Operations
A retired veterinarian, Lynn came to Texas in 2008 with over 30 years experience in the boarding kennel and pet care industry. She has been breeding and showing her beloved Gordon Setters since 1976 and competes in Conformation, Obedience, Agility, Tracking and Hunt Tests. Her dogs also chase squirrels and sleep on her bed. Originally from Wyoming and Colorado, Lynn loves the Hill Country and does NOT miss snow! Her philosophy toward pet care is to treat our clients’ pets as well, or better, than her own. Too often a pet’s physical needs are taken care of, but their emotional needs are neglected. She and our staff spend every day making sure every pet’s environment is as stress free as possible and that they are comfortable and happy.

Melody Hilburn, Director of Business Operations
Melody was a devoted customer before joining our staff. Prior to Stay N Play Pet Ranch, she worked in corporate communications for over 15 years and managed 51 retail stores with over 150 employees. Stay N Play Pet Ranch customers, pets, and co-workers all benefit from Melody’s vast professional experience in customer service and her genuine love of animals, as exemplified by her long-term service as an active board member of PAWS Shelter and Humane Society.

Crystal Gray, Kennel Supervisor
Crystal moved to Dripping Springs from New Mexico in 1985 and graduated from DSHS. She is the mother of 3 children. The joy Crystal felt after saving a deer trapped in a fence, changed her life and her passion for animals was clear. She worked for the Humane Society of Louisiana for about a year before her love of animals brought her to Stay N Play Pet Ranch in August 2007. Crystal has completed Level I and II of ABKA Advanced Certified Pet Care technicians programs and other management courses offered by Stay N Play Pet Ranch.

Jennifer Smith, Front Office Administrator
Before joining Stay N Play Pet Ranch in 2005, Jennifer's background was in childcare. She attended the Land of Lakes College in the Chicago area for childcare certification. Her love of animals brought her here and, at home, she currently has 3 rescue dogs and a cat. Jennifer receives rave reviews from our clients on her customer service skills.

Donna Burrow, Front Office Administrator
Donna Burrow worked in the sales and customer services industries in various capacities over the last 20 years. She was the office manager for two non-profit associations during the nineties. She understands the needs of each customer and how they care about their animals, which makes her a perfect addition to our administrative team.

Pick-Up
M-F: 7:30am-3:00pm
Sat: 8:30am-12:00pm
Sun: 3:00pm-5:00pm (Sundays are pick-up only)
